Our Faith Confession

We believe:

God created the heavens and the earth, and man was created in his image and after his likeness;

Salvation was provided through the blood-shed of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the remission of sins for all men;

The crucifixion and resurrection was the completed work of Jesus to ensure our salvation;

The communion supper show forth our fellowship and relationship with Jesus Christ; as the life of all flesh is in the blood;

In water baptism we lay down our sins and arise to a new life in Christ; an outward sign of our inward conversion and union with Christ;

In the Trinity; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, these three are one;

The church is the called out assembly, where God meets with us and communes with us:

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God;

Repentance is necessary to receive forgiveness of sins,

The Word of God is God speaking to us and giving us direction for our course in life;

Prayer is a must in the life of the believer;

Grace is God’s unmerited favor and divine influence upon our hearts which is bestowed upon each of us;

Tithes and offerings are the devoted things that we should give to God purposefully, cheerfully, consciously and faithfully.
